So, what are chakras? Chakras are energy centers in our body. The concept of chakras has Asian roots. According to ancient Asian traditions, our body is made of energy, known as chi. The way to solve chakra blockages and imbalances is by aligning your chakras. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all model for aligning chakras; rather, a collection of several practices. You should also incorporate more substances with the color of the chakra into your life. We will briefly examine some processes and practices for aligning the different chakras.
1. Root chakra (Muladhara)
Physical activity and better sleep can help balance your root chakra. The denoting color for the root chakra is red so having more red food, clothing, and flowers can also help.
2. Sacral chakra (Swadhisthana)
To balance your sacral chakra, you need to spend more time near water, by simply relaxing and taking refreshing walks near water or through physical activities that involve water, like swimming. The denoting color for this chakra is orange.
3. Solar Plexus chakra (Manipura)
Creative activities, like solving puzzles, drawing, and reading can help balance your solar plexus chakra. This chakra’s denoting color is yellow, so spending time outdoors and taking in the sunshine is a great idea.
4. Heart chakra (Anahata)
The heart is strongly associated with love. Do you see where this is headed? You can balance this chakra with activities involving your family members, friends, and other loved ones. Heart chakra’s color is gold.
5. Throat chakra (Vishudda)
You can balance the throat chakra through activities that engage the throat, like singing and talking with a friend or loved one. This chakra’s color is blue.
6. Third eye chakra (Ajna)
Spending time outdoors, meditation, and good sleep hygiene are important practices in balancing this chakra. The color indigo denotes this chakra.
7. Crown chakra (Sahasrara)

a. Root chakra

- Root chakra: the mountain, squat and child poses are useful for balancing it.
